Senior Manager; Digital Lab
The incumbent will be responsible to foster research, testing, and incubating of concepts, products and processes by leveraging on technology to deliver digital products which capture value, enhanced experience and capabilities to our customers.
Create, evolve, and scale a new method of delivering digital solutions, adopting a lean, fail fast delivery methodology based on Agile principles.
Play a key role of a change agent responsible to influence peers, leaders within the bank to align, adapt to and use these new methodologies/technologies.
Innovate from prototyping to testing with an eye towards encouraging speed to market in a dynamic and ever changing environment.
Create a digital lab which will facilitate nurturing of new ideas into finalized solutions by establishing and drive the technical execution of the digital products.
Create processes in the lab that are rooted in best practices for continuous improvement and innovation, constantly evolving to meet future business and delivery needs.
Oversee the build of digital products from technical design to final end solutions within the innovation operating model and framework.
Ensure that the design and implementation is within the user requirements analytical framework.
Drive a culture of innovation and bold thinking through rapid test and learn experimentation, while also delivering value for customers and business.
Design new systems ideas or changes by supplying input for key design and architecture decisions in technological solutions.
Conduct business and technical impact analysis of proposed application changes and new system design request.
Coordinate with internal development team on internal developed projects to ensure proper communication to the appropriate teams has been completed and all necessary documentation is in place on new system designs.
Lead the development of implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business strategy and requirements
Guide on the effective use of solutions and architectures in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements and the overall Enterprise ArchitectureEnsure the development of a high- performing team through embedding performance culture and informal coaching.
Build and provide coaching to a world class of Core Innovation team.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field in Computer Science
Project Management certification as added advantage
8-10 years of experience in product or solutions developments and IT leading projects
5 years of experience in a managerial role
Experience in IT leading projects in finance/banking industry will be an added advantage
Extensive experience with project management/change management
