Finance & Operations Executive Job (70-90K) Corporate Staffing

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Record and reconcile all transactions, including petty cash, supplier and customer invoices, and bank payments.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring timely invoicing, collection from customers, and settlement of supplier obligations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reconciliation reports.
  • Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, and statutory returns.
  • Implement and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial control and reporting.
  • Manage the company’s fixed assets register and perform periodic reviews.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset registers, prepayments, and accruals schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Procurement & Operations Support

  • Coordinate procurement processes, including preparation of LPOs and supplier documentation.
  • Support the imports and exports process – ensuring timely processing of documentation (IDF, PPB, KEBS, insurance, and related permits).
  • Liaise with suppliers, clearing agents, and regulators to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Assist in developing efficient procurement and stock management plans to avoid shortages or expiries.
  • Lead periodic stock-taking exercises, monthly and quarterly, to verify accuracy and compliance with company policy.
  • Oversee inventory control and reconciliation between physical stock and system records

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, logistics) to align financial planning with operational needs.
  • Collaborate with HR on payroll and statutory remittances.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • CPA (K) qualification or at least CPA Section 4 and above.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks/accounting systems and proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in imports, exports, or procurement coordination will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
