Mission:
Ensure WWF Tanzania applies the highest standards of People & Culture management, enabling a skilled, engaged, and high-performing workforce to deliver the Conservation Strategy.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
– Implement the People & Culture component of the TCO Strategic Plan.
– Ensure personnel contracts and HR practices align with WWF standards and Tanzania Labour Laws.
– Oversee training, capacity building, performance management, recruitment, inductions, and exits.
– Manage nationwide compensation, benefits, and annual remuneration reviews.
– Develop and implement the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHS).
– Maintain HR data/statistics and provide regular analytical reports to the Country Director.
– Assist in organizational structuring to support strategy delivery.
– Supervise field project HR audits and liaise with WWF International Africa Hub.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Post university degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field (MSc. HRM / MPA an added advantage).
– Membership in a relevant HR professional body is a strong asset.
– At least 8 years of professional experience in HR management.
– In-depth knowledge of Tanzania employment laws and HR policy frameworks.
– Excellent communication skills in English.
