Swissport Tanzania Plc is hiring an HR Generalist at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Manage labor relations, payroll reconciliation, and compliance.

Role Profile

The HR Generalist will provide general technical guidance and support for the company’s established human resource programmes at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adhere to Security, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
• Ensure staff data in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is accurate
• Manage labor disputes and represent the company at the Commission for Mediation and Arbitration (CMA)
• Reconcile employee general payroll and manage sickness-tracking tools
• Coordinate onboarding, recruitment vetting, reference checks, and exit protocols
• Oversee staff welfare, health awareness, and PPE distribution

Qualifications & Competencies

• Degree in Human Resources Management (HRM) or Social Sciences
• At least three years of related HR experience
• In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and legal system
