Barrick Gold is recruiting Light Vehicle Mechanics at North Mara Gold Mine. Repair and maintain diesel light vehicles and tire shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on light diesel vehicles
• Ensure equipment isolation, follow safety protocols, and use required PPE
• Perform tire shop activities including stripping, assembling LV tires, and operating tire handlers
• Provide accurate feedback on equipment status to the Light Vehicle Supervisor

Qualifications

• Secondary Education and Diesel Mechanics Trade Certification / VETA Grade One / FTC
• Valid Tanzania driving license (Class D/F)
• 2-3 years’ experience in diesel mechanics, ideally within the mining industry
