Job Summary

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, transparent, and cost-effective management of procurement and logistics functions that enable timely availability of goods, services, and operational support required for effective program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen procurement systems to secure reliable, quality, and cost-effective goods and services
• Promote transparency, fairness, and value for money in all procurement processes
• Build and maintain a pre-qualified supplier network and establish framework agreements
• Develop and implement logistics systems, SOPs, and fleet management methodologies
• Maintain accurate, organized procurement and logistics documentation to support audits
• Conduct market assessments and price surveys to identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and supplies, Material Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• 3 to 4 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement and logistics
• Knowledge of Logistics and Transport Management
• Ability to use computerized integrated Financial Management and HR Systems
