JOB VACANCY 

QUALITY CONTROLLER (1 Position) 

Work Station: Kigoma

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant food processing or quality assurance role KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Establish, implement and monitor quality control standards for all milling and food  processing activities in line with national and industry regulations.
• Inspect and test raw materials (grains and inputs) on arrival to ensure they meet the  required quality and safety specifications before processing.
• Conduct regular sampling and laboratory testing of in-process and finished products to  verify quality, moisture content, purity and consistency.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements, including  TBS, TFDA and other applicable Tanzanian standards.
• Monitor the entire milling process and identify deviations, contamination risks or defects,  and recommend timely corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, batches and quality reports for  traceability and audit purposes.
• Oversee proper storage, handling and packaging of products to preserve quality and  prevent spoilage or contamination.
• Train and guide production and operations staff on quality standards, hygiene practices and  food safety procedures.
• Manage calibration and maintenance schedules of quality testing equipment to ensure  accurate and reliable results.
• Liaise with management, regulators and auditors, and prepare periodic quality performance reports with improvement recommendations.
