2. Children’s Privacy and Google Play Families Policy

Because Jipime is an educational tool designed for secondary school students, our target audience naturally includes children and minors. We strictly comply with the Google Play Families Policy, the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA), and relevant data protection regulations in Tanzania.

  • Data Minimization: We do not collect sensitive personal information from children (such as precise location, microphone/camera data, or authentication details) without verifiable parental consent.
  • Prohibited Identifiers: We do not transmit Android Advertising Identifiers (AAID), SIM Serial, BSSID, MAC, SSID, IMEI, or IMSI from users known to be minors.
  • Approved SDKs: Any third-party APIs or Software Development Kits (SDKs) used within the app are specifically approved for use in child-directed services.
  • No Behavioral Advertising: We do not display interest-based or remarketing advertisements to users identified as children.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The app may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, primarily for app analytics and crash reporting. These services are bound by their own privacy policies and are configured to comply with child-safety standards.
