Senior Accounting & Tax Lead Job Novo Nordisk

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee general accounting and tax compliances and processes for Middle Africa countries, including GBS’s support activities (e.g. closing period, reconciliations, invoice processing and payments)

Treasury and cash management – cashflow forecasting, managing cash balance, bank account oversight, and corporate credit card processes

Provide expert functional support and training to local stakeholders and the GBS team

Act as a partner to the business to ensure correct postings, management reporting alignment.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in technical accounting, tax and/or audit roles. Demonstrated expertise in coordinating a shared service center model and successfully transitioning transactional work.

Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT) and IFRS practicalities.

Practical treasury experience: cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliations and bank relationship handling.

Excellent communication skills, maturity in navigating complex dotted-line/matrix reporting structures, ability to work independently, and to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
