World Vision / VisionFund is hiring a Relationship Officer Supervisor in Tanzania. Lead credit operations, loan portfolio growth, and field team coaching.
Role Overview
Supervise and monitor daily activities of Relationship Officers, lead teams to achieve savings, insurance and lending targets, and provide coaching, mentoring, and field support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing efforts for savings, insurance and loan products
- Validate loan appraisals and client assessments before approval
- Ensure strong portfolio quality through close monitoring and enforce zero tolerance on missed repayments
- Ensure all activities comply with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (BoT)
- Prepare and submit performance reports and analytics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Academic Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in credit/loan operations within Microfinance or Banking
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, cash flow assessment, and collateral evaluation
